My car is making a high pitched buzzing noise in the rear. Sounds like it is coming from the drivers side wheel. The sound is most like the sound you get from speakers when you have interference in an RCA wire. The noise is only present when the car is accelerating. When just coasting or braking the noise is not present.

The noise is not gear dependant, and it gets louder and more high pitched the higher into the RPMs you get. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreicated, I plan on doing the axle nut fix this weekend to see if that solves the problem.

any noticeable vibration? or just the noise?

 

just the noise, its there with the top up and down as well. its a new car to me so maybe its just a noise im not used to yet, but i doubt that.
