Default A/C

Hey guys i just replaced my field coil and clutch for the a/c compressor. The a/c works fine but it doesnt really blow that cold like it use too. I read that when ever you do a/c service the receiver drier should be replaced. Is this common? I know that the receiver drier circulates feron through the system and gets dirt out of it so i was just wondering if any knows anything about this. Is it all neccesary to do the a/c flush?

did you plug up the lines and compressor when you took it out.. your not suppose to let it expose to air for long periods of time..

if you had it exposed to air .. i would get it replaced.. also make sure you recharge it with the right amount of r 134a. more is not always better.. put in the right amount labeled under the hood somewhere

Did all that but the a/c doesnt seem to stay cool for a consistant amount of time. Recharged and vacuumed the whole system. Ill probably replace the receiver its only about $50 so its not that bad. Anymore inputs guys.
