AC went out!

Default AC went out!

i put my hard top back on, since i took it off b/c of the beautiful weekend that just passed. I turn on my AC and boom, its warm air commin out. i turn it up more maybe as time goes by it'll get colder, but nothing. just warm air blowing harder. this honestly makes me sad, i don't know what to do. i know it was working friday evening, but its not working now. what should i do and how can i fix this?

You probably have the heater turned on with the air conditioner.

Take it to a shop that has the equipment to service the AC system. Don't buy refrigerant and add to the system. This doesn't fix anything without identifying where the refrigerent is leaking.

turn on the a/c to high and temp knob all the way to cold, and then look at the a/c pump pulley. the clutch on it should be engaged and spinning with the pully. if not, you are low or out of refrigerant. if so, you have a leak in the system somewhere that will have to be fixed, then system vacuumed and then new r-134a put in the system.

or the clutch cycling switch/r-134a pressure switch could be bad but i doubt it.

check the power to the a/c compressor clutch,maybe bad fuse/wire conection?
