Default A/C service cover

I was curious if I removed this cover piece, would it give more air flow to the air box? Not the whole plastic cover just that A/c service cover in the middle.

Not really because it's not directly where the air box is at but if you remove the whole piece it will.

Air flow to radiator will be reduced though.

Airflow to the radiator won't be effected significantly enough to not do it.. I've been having mine off for 3 years in New Orleans where it regularly gets 90+ degrees in the summer and never had any temp issues..

It's not nearly as bad as putting an FMIC in front of the radiator..
