ima give that a shot thanks

UPDATE: no good the wires are still disconnected in the trunk just tried
Hooking up the positive to the fuse box and grounding the ground to the body will work. I don't understand what you are saying when you say it won't work.

I dont think the s2k has one of those but I dunno

I say you pop off the plastic behind the seats and reach through there. If you have no spare tire its pretty much a straight shot
are your from canada?

i think it's a requirement after 01-02 for all us car on the road

I am from MD, not canada. I just have never seen one of those emergency release handles in the trunk of my car. Its an 01... I said I dunno if it has one or not though..

Get a better Honda dealer? I did the exact same thing, locked my only set of keys in the trunk with the car locked. My Honda dealer cut me a new key for $10 and told me to bring it back sometime with the car and they would program the key for free...
dang i just spent $65 just to get another key and its not even programmed.

i pulled out that plastic tray where the softtop sits now where is the kid nap strap? for future references.

its still an open circuit because where the other end of the wires are completly off my battery so if i used the feed through wires that were in the original location it would still need to be grounded.

That wouldn't matter. You would be completely skipping the wiring and battery in the trunk if you connected directly the the positive on the main fuse block under the hood, and negative to the chassis.

Unless you moved your entire fusebox with relays and everything to the trunk and extended your complete engine harness to the trunk (I'd bet $10,000 that you didn't do that) then you should be able to connect a battery under the hood.

Either way, you're in now. Keep a spare key outside the car!
