So I've had my k&n CAI on the car for quite a while, and finally I decided to do a search on the product to see if it makes any improvements. When searching I heard a lot of people complement the system for it's sound?? What does this sound, sound like? My car is completely stock except for the CAI, the only sound I notice is a whistling sound but I would hardly complement that as good sounding. What are they hearing that I am not?

 

It bellows at wide open throttle. Like a deep throaty sound.

 

It is hard to hear most intakes... top down in an enclosed parking garage will make you aware of the sound.

 

Sex under the hood!!! It sounds amazing. Real deep. She growls now

 

Ummm... Intake sound is very, very obvious on an S, especially if comparing to the stock box with the lid on

 

i put mine on not too long ago and it is way louder than it was with the oem box.

 

As mentioned above go WOT and you'll hear it.
