Cam Angle Question
So I was at Church automotive tuning the other day trying to tune my car and he said that the Cam Angle was non responsive. The reason I went in for tuning was the car was running super rich and it feel like misfiring below 3K rpm
- Here is my setup : Have a Turbo Setup with Ivtec
- My TDC Sensor wire was frayed so I got a new plug and soidered it on with the new plug, my old plug on there was destroyed(I have no reason how or why).
- We took out the TDC sensor and it looked to have a small ding on the bottom of it. so he said that I should probably replace it.
I took a volt meter to the TDC wire today and the reading came back 0.1 when I tapped into the wire, so I wanted to try it directly into the plug, when I took out the plug while the car was still running(Probably not a good idea) , the engine shut off, and the reading on it was still the same.
- My conclusion - The wire is still good since When I unplug it the car dies, the sensor needs to be replaced.
But wanted to get feedback from the community on what your thoughts might be.
