My mechanic said this was plugged into my knock sensor (which is broken)...






I know the OEM one is supposed to be square though (and black too I think). Wtf happened? Is it possible someone who worked on my car could have swapped my knock sensor and plug for one from a different car or something?

I'm so lost. My knock sensor is broken off and this is the only plug that isn't plugged in. I don't know wtf to do... Even if the above is what happened it seems like I'm screwed since 1. I don't know what knock sensor would work with that plug, 2. if I wanted to put an OEM plug back on I have no idea where I'd get one, and 3. if its not a knock sensor plug I have no idea where it goes to...

Can anyone help?

 

maybe a throttle position sensor... i dunno
