Cam chain not aligned right?
Here is the story.
Had my head off the car to replace a gasket and when all was finished, I Re-installed the head.
The only problem now is the cam chain skipped a tooth some how. It will not align with the crank TDC.
Its over to the right from where it needs to be. In this pic it perfect. (Pic provided by kane.s2k)

My question is will this affect anything and if it does, would it be my timing.
Thanks in advance

If the white mark on the crank pulley is aligned, and the 2 marks on the cam chaim pulley are aligned with the head surface, it doesn't matter if the 2 dark links are not over the dot.
