Default Cams installation TDC

Well to make a long story short I had to get my cylinder head rebuilt. When I pulled the head the lines on the cams where facing away from each other instead of lined up at tdc but when I looked at the pistons it was lined up at tdc. What want to know is should I put it back and line it up at tdc or should i put it back the way I found it. I wanna go with what the manual says and line it up at tdc but I dont wanna mess up I just want to know which one I should go with.

Thanks in advance.

You'd probably get a quicker response in the NA forum

It does not matter how it was when it was removed. All that matters is that you set the crank pully at the TDC mark (white). Next set the timing chain pulley to TDC using it's marks. Then install the cams, lining up the TDC marks. You will be good to go.
