Camshafts for S2000?
This is for all those who have been researching the topic of CAMSHAFTS, do you know a ball park figure on how much they will be? And what type of power gain can we expect? Who will be making them(Spoon, etc.)?

nobody knows anything since the manufacturers are tight lipped about it, and guessing on the vendors' part would be hazardous to their reputation, so you'll probably not hear anything until it's actually available.

I just got an e-mail back from Toda. They said that info on camshafts for the S2000 will be avaliable at the end of March.
Wouldnt it be great if they could get an increase of 10 to 15 whp with just cams starting at 4000 rpms to Redline? I think this is possible because suposedly the cam profile on S2000 camshafts is not much more agressive than stock type R cams. A type R generally gains 15 to 20 whp with Spec A's and 25 to 30 with Spec B's. I know that doesnt really apply to the F20 because of the many differences between the F20 and the B18C5 but I can dream right? So, the camshafts with Injen intake, Spoon header, J's Racing exhaust, Toda cam gears, and a V-AFC would maybe even be able to add 25 to 35 hp Naturally aspirated! That would be SWEET!!!!! That would easily be able to make people run high 13's- mid 13's (since some people have been able to run high 13's basically stock).
Sorry for the aimless rambling.

Spoon is also coming out with cams for the F20C -- I believe pricing is approx. 1400 CDN and date available is also around March.
Looks like March is gonna be a very interesting month!
