Can anyone ID this part?
I picked up my new S on July 2nd. The sales guy and manager wanted me to take the car that night so they could record it as "delivered." But, I didn't have the radio code and the mudguards forward of the wheels had not been installed. I told them don't bother to install the front license plate frame. I returned on a busy Saturday to get this installed. Probably could have done it myself, but since it's brand new and I needed the radio code I drove back to the dealer. Yesterday, where I've been parking the car on the driveway I found this part in the pic below. I can't say for sure it's from the S, but it's a brand new piece, and it's flexible rubber. I took a quick look by the wheel well, and noticed that whoever installed the mud guard did a crappy job. One screw is not even screwed in all the way, looks like he didn't bother to align it and screwed it in until it didn't go anymore.
Then along with the license plate hardware, there were 2 other parts (the bigger ones), and I am wondering if they are part of the plate frame assembly, or more leftovers.
The little part:

The 2 bigger pieces that were in the bag with plate frame hardware:

I'm glad it's not engine related, but still, a new car, pieces shouldn't be falling off (if indeed it is from my S)

Last picture, thing on the left ..................... This is the cover for the back side of your inside rear view mirror. It's to finish off the bare naked look of the thing that's stuck on the glass.
Middle picture, thing on the far right ................ This is a fastener that holds one piece of plastic trim to whatever the trim covers. There are several types and shapes of such fasteners all over this car. I'm not sure where on the car it uses this type. The center comes out, the main body gets put in and then the center goes back in to splay the ends so it doesn't fall out.
The metal thing is some kind of bracket likely used to hold some component in place. Again, sorry, I don't know where that might be. An idea would be to see if you have both horns installed. That could be a bracket that holds one of them in place. One horn is in front of the radiator and the other should be on the right underhood fender wall, behind the airbox.
No idea what the thing is in the first picture.

I don't know about the rubber thing either. I'm pretty sure I'm right about the plate mount flange, I take it off everytime I wash the car.
EDIT: I agree the little cover is for the rear-view mirror. I knocked mine off a couple times cleaning the window. What holds it on anyway, love?
EDIT: if this link works, I think it's part# 8 and 37.

EDIT: I'm just guessing now, and I can't go check on my S right now (it's covered, I'm lazy), but the rubber thing almost looks like one of the spacers I have seen on torsion bars in the trunk. I'm not sure becuase I remember those looking more like a figure "8" with a slit in each side. Anyway it looks something that was made to keep parts from rattling together rather than secure them. That's just a guess though, if I figure it out I'll post.
That size clip (on the far right) is used just about dead center underneath the front of the car. The undertray extends up in 2 places front and center under the car. I'd look there to see if one (or more) are missing. This car spits these little clips like crazy! Everytime I pull a wheel off, there are 1 or 2 that need replacing.

p.s. I'm flipping thru the Helm's manual right now to find an illustration for the "mounting bracket". I think it is for the front plate too, but I wanna find a pic.
I give! I can't find that darn picture of the front bumper assembly. Thankfully the link above shows it well enough. Looks like clip A is used in a few places, including the plate bracket.

Thanks for the replies. I'm glad that metal bracket is from the license plates. Who knows how the cover for the rear view mirror got in that bag. I'll go outside to see if it's missing inside the car. Next weekend I'll take a look underneath to see about the clip and the small rubber piece on the first pic.
I think the clip goes to the front plate mounting bracket. It's part# 37 in the above linked illustration. I know these clips are used in various places on the car, however in this case I'm assuming it's the one that comes with the plate bracket since it looks like his was never installed during PDI.
