I'm no expert on drag racing but yes it would cost a lot if you tried using the existing engine.

Youre best bet would be to use an engine other than an F20C. Most people are well aware that it takes an extreme amount of money to build an F20c capable of handling the high boost numbers required for producing enough hp to generate times like those.

The cheapest option would be to use something like an RB26DETT or RB25DET. Both engines are cheaply available and are built to handle high ammounts of boost. There are several RB26DETT's built with large single turbo's producing in excess of 1000hp. 600hp is fairly easily attainable.

Problem is the drivetrain is only going to handle 1 or 2 launches before it will be toast, and because of screwed up weight balance the car will handle like sh!t.

To make it semi-reliable you would probably have to spend somewhere around $15k on the drivetrain.

Did you and your friend get high again?

Maybe you should do a search for something ... once.

You can make just about any car into a 10 second beast if you really wanted to, but I would suggest looking into your family tree background and hope that your roots land somewhere in the Gates or Turner family heritage because it is going to take some serious Moolah!

Yes you can do it and yes you can use an F20C. I could do it for you for approx $45,000 + (1) one Honda S2000.

I think if u dropped 1000 pounds and got a turbo u could make it a 10 sec car...plus it would only be good for one or two runs...but hey it would be a 10 sec car...haha

Do you have a S2000 to turn into a 10 sec car?

Or stop asking pointless, stupid questions that are all pretty much the same....

I mean, honestly, look at the last three or four threads this guy has started...

All I can say is, if this is what you're wanting to do, then get a goddamned EVO VIII when they come out. They'll be much easier to make fast.

you could do it with alot of weight reduction, alot of boost, and some hose. it may only make a few passes but you could hit a 10
