Default can't find my owner's manual....

Watup guys. I just recently bought my AP1 with 24k on it. The guy who owned it before me said he used Mobil1 synthetic oil for the oil changes. I'm going to change my oil tommorow with Mobil1 as well, but what type should I use?

Mobil 1 0W-20
Mobil 1 0W-30
Mobil 1 0W-40
Mobil 1 5W-20
Mobil 1 5W-30
Mobil 1 10W-30

Also, how often should synthetic oil be changed?

Any input is appreciated, THANKS!!!

10W30 is what it says in the owner's manual and the oil cap. 5W40 can also be used if it's easier for you to find.

The "book" says to change it every 3750 miles under "severe" service schedule and 7500 under "normal" schedule. The conditions that dictate these are very specific but since you are using synthetic, you can change it anywhere between 5000 and 7500 miles. It has been shown that even at 7500 miles, the oil still has sufficient protection left in it.
More important that how often you should change is how often you should check it. The manual advises to check it at about the amount you fill up the gas tank. Many S2000s normally use oil. Failure to check it and keep it at the proper level can get you into a world of hurt.

This is not your average Honda. It would be advised that you obtain an owner's manual or Helm service manual. There are things about this car that is unique and you should be aware of these things.

I'm sorry, but I don't believe that you drive the "shuttle" S2000 to take Santa's elves back to work near Xmas time.

No, it's not "bad". However, in the heat of the summer, your oil will be just a bit thinner than the 10W30. If you run the car in the winter and your winter gets cold, 5W30 is fine. If you track the car or drive it hard in the summer, you might be better off with the recommended 5W40 or 10W30.
