as the topic implys my car has started to bog while driving. At first i thought i might have been low on oil ( which was true) so i did an oil change that day using Mobil 1 and it hasn't stopped. The car ONLY bogs while i'm driving and even then it doesn't do it very often. I'm just worried this could be the start of something bad. should i just do a tune up (ie. plugs and wires and what not)? cars got about 85km on it.

You might want to be more descriptive: Does it bog when you are accelerating at high RPM? Is it when you're just cruising? When you're accelerating from a stop? When you're creeping along at slow speeds? Does it happen in certain weather? Is the engine warm or cold?

 

keep me posted, im having the same problem periodically when the car is fully warmed up, i can have the car in cruise control at about 70-80mph then is starts to cut out and feels like a 2cylinder engine. after it starts it does it at any rpm and also in neutral, replaced map, checked coils, ran seafoam through tank, still does it. im curious to know what you find!

 

Are you getting a CEL? If not, you might have a lot of crud in your gas tank plugging up your filter.

 

since it started to bog (friday) i haven't really pushed the car real hard. So to reply to your statement, it bogs while i cruise periodically...i've had the car bog in every gear at different times..I always warm up the engine before it moves so i can assume thats not a problem. I read the FAQ page and my first assumption would be the weather change as i live in canada and am gettin ready for the cold weather.
