So A few weeks ago, I thought I blew my clutch. I was cruising at about 100mph and lost all gears, revs shot up and my clutch wouldn't grab any gear. I pulled over and my car shut off as soon as I came to a stop, white smoke everywhere and smell of burnt clutch. tried to start the car and it wouldn't start, so I had it towed to my place. It sat there without moving for 3 weeks. Yesterday morning, I decided to try to jump it just to make sure the engine was ok. It started up after charging the battery for a bit. Then I put it in gear and it grabbed, I drove it around and every gear grabbed fine. I took it to 9k and it pulled hard. It was as if nothing happened. What in the world happened? Aliens?

Could I have possibly glazed the clutch? It didn't happen while shifting, I was cruising in 6th.

Is it possible something locked up? preventing it from starting when I pulled over?

Either way, I'm going to get it checked out soon.

 

Check for MC leaks, Bleed clutch, drive til it breaks again.
