Default Transmission Problems

Yesterday I went on a spirited drive on my S , I havent drove it for nearly 3 weeks.

On the morning I start her up, and feel something strange with the clutch pedal, its has a very strange feel, normally it feels solid, but yesterday felt like it had some play, I had some trouble engaging reverse.

Well, Finally by the afternoon when im returning to my home, I try to engage 1st gear, and is stuck, it dosent want to engage, y try second, third gear nothing at all.

I shut down the car, and i can engage any gear, but if i start it, it wont go into any gear.

What problem do you guys think my S2K Has ?

I Have a MY01 S2K

Thank you

It dosent seem that the clutch has gone, because if i turn of the car, engage 1rst gear, and turn on the car with the clutch pressed, i can drive normally, but have trouble engaging the rest of the gears.

I agree with Wild, sounds like clutch master or slave cylinder. You push the pedal but, the the clutch isn't disengaging all the way.

Nobody is saying your clutch is gone. They're trying to tell you that it's the system that disengages it that needs attention - master or slave cylinder, clutch fluid, plunger to release fork interface or release fork anchoring point.

Master cylinder
or
Slave cylinder
or
Clutch fluid
or
All of the above.

Any signs of fluid leakage on the floor where the car war parked for 3 weeks?
Or signs of fluid leakage at the master or slave cylinder?
Signs of (surface) rust on the master or slave?

Let us know what you find

P.S. drive your car more often
It is so much fun

No leaks of clutch fluid on the floor of my garage, my worst thought was about the clutch, how can i troubleshoot the master and slave cilinder ? to know which

The master is behind the clutch pedal, with the cylinder being at the engine side of the firewall and the piston rod on the inside (where you sit).
Check for oil leaks at the piston rod.
And check (do not adjust if you don't have to!) the connections between clutch pedal - piston rod.

The slave is underneath the car next to the transmission (at the driver side).
Check for oil leaks there too.
When you take the rubber boot away (after taking the slave off - do not disconnect the oil line) you can see the release fork xviper mentioned, check for enough high temp grease there.

See your manual for the location of the clutch fluid reservoir.
(allthough not much can be seen from above I think)

Maybe get help and let the help push the clutch while you watch the slave.
Listen for air bubbles getting pushed through (if that is possible - just guessing)

Working on the clutch release system is getting pretty technical so make sure you know what you are doing.

Any good (Honda) dealers around?
