If youre in Mission Viejo, Id recommend you take it to Mandalay - they give great discounts to s2k owners (his son is on the forums) and Im pretty sure they can help to diagnose your problem.

Anywho - sorry to hear. Ive been in a similar situation a few times and it really sucks.... Best of luck!
I need to change that, I'm now in Newport Beach, so it's not to far of a drive. I just set an apt with a mechanic right up the road from me....he specializes in Hondas so I'll give him a shot and give you guys an update later tonight. Let's just hope it's nothing to expensive. =) thanks and anymore info anyone has would be great!

It is possible that you got a tank full of bad gas.

^thats true. My old car did that to me..bad idle/not holding idle, randomly stalling out. Tossed in a GOOD fuel injector cleaner, + good gas and it started getting better.

Tps sensor baby...the map is usually bad under a decent throttle load...if you pushed the gas from a stop and the car cut off similar to a stall...then tps sensor should be checked, especially if you were cruising and it was jerky the whole way home... the cel won't go off for it until it gets crucial by that time you won't want to drive the car at all. They don't sell the tps sensor separately its all one unit from honda...bout 500 bux...

well, that sounds like fun...=) Well the guy said that #2 had kinda low compression. For some reason I didn't ask what the compression was...He told me lets try a valve adjustment...the car has about 125k on the odometer. so we're going to give that a shot...

MAP sensor whack
bad fuel
check plugs
old fuel filter - change it
check fuel pump

Just my initial ideas - I would guess bad fuel and/or fuel filter is clogged. With 125k it's prolly time for a new fuel filter anyway.
