Default Car died at light today?

Hello, i have a question, today i was driving my car and i stepped on the gas to pass a car up and when i did that my car started to stutter, so i contunited for about two miles with the car driving strange. In a low RPM the car seamed fine, but in higher RPM's the car ran bad. So i made a stop and turned of my car and i think everything was fine and plugged in. So after a few minutes I got back in my car and only made it a mile before I came to a stop sign and the car died?? It didn't over heat, there was oil....i'm not really sure what it is...any help would be really great...thanks in advanced!

Question. how did it die?

If it stuttered/was jerky, its pointing at a fuel delivery system
if it silently went out, its pointing at spark kill.

^just my 2cents. more info is required.....!

such as:
Lights dont turn on?
fuel pump not priming?
any problems before?
etc

Thumbs up

Check your oil, I was stumped as to why my car wouldn't star as it turns out my battery was dead; I just got that recharged with this machine I have at home, then checked the alternator and it was perfect. I still do not know how my battery died

More of an update:
The car has been a little jerky when i step on the gas the past few weeks (about the last 2 1/2) But last night after letting the car sit for about 30 min it started back up and drove jerky the next mile til i got home. It was late and i live in an apartment, so i did a quick look over and I couldn't see that anything was wrong...So this morning the car is acting the same way and know the car doesn't want to hold it's idle that well. On the way to work i was driving it and places where i had to jump up on the speed to about 50, when i would come to a light the car would have the idle going down to like 250...barley holding on. Then at one light the car died....No CEL light, all the lights work...so i'm not really sure? again thanks for the help in advance!!

don't really know whats wrong with your car but i would recommend you don't drive the car till you fix it so it doesnt mess anything else up

If youre in Mission Viejo, Id recommend you take it to Mandalay - they give great discounts to s2k owners (his son is on the forums) and Im pretty sure they can help to diagnose your problem.

Anywho - sorry to hear. Ive been in a similar situation a few times and it really sucks.... Best of luck!
