Default Car hiccups

Hello everyone. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone before. I turned on my car, and drove about 1/4 mile, stopped to talk to one of my friends for about 15 mins(left the car running.) After we finished talking i started driving again, and once i hit about 35mph the car bogged down for a quick second, then everything returned to normal.Has anything like this happened to anyone else?

Umm some quick info that may/may not help.
oil was changed about 500 miles ago
AEM Short ram intake
Invidia exhaust
No other mods....

It also does this right before the 3rd bar on the engine heat indicator lights up...Its like a momentary power lapse. Alos, to add to my first post, the ac was not on.

If it is happening before the 3rd bar is lite up and you are going above the VTEC engagement point, you may be hitting the 'too cold' rev limiter. The engine does not like to go into VTEC if you have not warmed the engine up to three bars. I always try to remember that when I am at an autoX and my car has been sitting for awhile. I must let the engine run until three bars are lite before my first run.

No, its happening in the low rpm range, between 2-4.5k. Yesterday was the first time it happened after having the car sit and run for while. But it happens everyonce in a while in the morning befre i go to work. The car will hit a snag, real quick, just before the 3rd bar comes on.

Odd. If you had a VAFC, I could see that happening if it was set wrong. Try PMing Billman, he knows all.

This happened again, only a bit worse this time. After sitting in stop and go traffic for about 10 mins, i went to accelerate and the car bogged down(revs dropping, car shuddered), so i put in the clutch, revved it, let out the clutch like normal, and everything was fine. It did it again this morning, same situation, stop and go traffic, lagged a bit while i was on the gas, and then everything seemed to go back to normal. Any ideas?

Could this be cause by:

Too much oil- i checked the oil just now, engine was cold, oil is just under the "h"?

-Bad spark plugs?

I had a problem similar to your's, but I had put in larger injectors and had a VAFC running. My A/F ratio meter would go to full lean and the car would bog. I would have to do what you did (clutch in, rev, and clutch out) and the car would work fine. Now that I have gone back to to OEM injectors and the VAFC is out, it doesn't happen any longer. Since you didn't list either of those in your mods, I am at a loss.
