Default Car hopping issues please help (:

Ok so the past cupple months my car has been acting up. I've taken it to the dealer in they can't find out what's wrong. The car sometimes when I'm stuck in traffic in I move 3feet here in there when I get a spot to open her up. The car will bog down and hop Untill I smash my foot to the floor. Then it will work itself normal. The car has 97,000miles on it with only code it's throwing is my o2 sensor bad on my stright pipe. Friends said try sea foam. So have u guys ever herd of this. Also I had my valves adjusted at 96,000miles car ran great till I stop in go in traffic/ like a Taco Bell drive threw.

Try a map whack. Sounds like it might be dirty and not reading properly. And just a shot in the dark but check your spark plugs.. might be a tad foul. Even if they are not the problem they are easy to inspect and rule out

Check throttle cable, it's mounting, and engine mounts to be sure engine motion is not pulling the throttle cable. Also, silly as it seems, I've seen cases where the driver pushes on the gas and the car accelerates, causing the driver or seat to shift backwards and lifting off the gas slightly. This makes the car slow down and the foot shifts back to applying pressure to the pedal and the car accelerates again. Whether caused by the throttle linkage or driver/seat, the cycle can repeat 2-3 times a second and is extremely annoying.
