Car not hitting Vtec?

Car not hitting Vtec?

My car doesn't sound like it hits Vtec anymore. I couldn't hear the spike in the sound when it gets to 6k+ and it just sounds normal all the way to 9k. What could be the problem?

Check your oil. VTEC is governed by oil pressure. If it has gotten low, it will not engage.

My user error. Lol. Vtec hits at WOT.

if u are gradually increasing the pressure on your gas pedal and slowly bringing the rev up, VTEC won't engage.
