Default Car run like shit sometimes

hi guys...i got a 01S. but my car run very rough in the morning, especially, now the weather is getting colder and colder (im living in UK where the fog and moisture is quite heavy)
when the weather is warmer...like last few months...(coz i just bought her 3months ago).....my car is a bit rough when start and run is cold, until the car warm up...and a few hours later...the car return to normally...usually at the afternoon

but now..the weather is freaking cold...fog is getting heavier and heavier...
my baby not only start, idle and run rough, she do that almost everytime i drive her..and never return to normal....(i drive less than 10 miles a day)

but...sometimes...i drive her longer....park my car....start her again...and she return to normal...

would you guys please help me out with this?

Doubtful.

Bad idle can have a couple causes:

1) IACV is bad. Sometimes a good cleaning can make it last a little longer. Take a look in the FAQ/DIY sticky at the top. I have instructions on how to clean the IACV.

2) MAP is bad. Sometimes you can do the "MAP whack" and the MAP will work for a bit longer. Look in the FAQ/DIY sticky for instructions on the MAP whack.

If cleaning the IACV along with the MAP whack does not work, then replace them. Start with a new MAP first since it is the least expensive...then if a new MAP doesn't work try replacing the IACV.

If replacing them doesn't change the situation. Get your valves adjusted and have a compression test done. Come back and tell us the compression numbers.

Depends on how dirty it is. Replace that and do what negcamber said.
