Default car shaking like crazy

Today I go out for a cruise and the car shake like crazy at the speed of 120-140km/h..

steering wheel not shaking..
side mirror not shaking...

but the passenger seat is shaking and make lots of noise and my seat I feel shake a lot also....

I rarely drive over 120km/h, is it normal??? I just had my wheel alignment done 1 week ago.. but one of the rear tire inner went bald, will that be the reason?

thxx

NOT normal. This car is smooth and rock solid to over 200 KM/hr. Something is not right with your car.
BOTH inner edges of the rear tires should be equally thin. If only one tire is this way, then there is something wrong with the alignment or the tire/wheel balance. First check to see if you can tell if any wheels weight have fallen off. You would see a discoloration where the weight used to be stuck on the inside surface of the wheel. You say your steering wheel doesn't shake, so if it's a wheel imbalance, then I would suggest that it's one of the rear wheels.

Yes this will cause it. It may have a broken belt internally. Jack up the car and spin that wheel see if it bounces up and down.

it could my problem was one of the rear wheels lost a balance weight so i have it re balanced with new tires and no shaking now after 100 but it tends to sway alot be cause i need alignment.

It "could" be the cause but not necessarily. You must find out WHY is did this.

Also check your lug nuts to make sure they are all there and all on with the correct torque.

Get 2 new rear tires and have the wheels balanced properly. If it still shakes then have the alignment checked again. If the shakes go away, you most likely had a badly balanced wheel before or you had cord separation in the one tire.

found this on toyo official website

"At high speeds a tire which is not balanced properly can generate severe vibrations. These vibrations can be felt in your steering wheel or even in the seat of your vehicle."

What tires are you running on your car...SO2', Toyo's or some El Cheapo's?

I run the Bridgestone RE050 (OEM for MY04) and my car vibrates a little during the first mile of my commute. Once they heat up, the car feels more solid. This car seems to be very sensitive to tire changes.
