Default car slugish to start

hello fellow s2kiers, i have a questions fot you all, my car starts fine in the mornings, but lately if i drive somewhere and turn off the car and come right back to start it like at a gas station or a quick run to the store, the car acts all weird like it doesnt want to start but it does it has never not started and i dont want to wait until it gets to that point and also yesterday after one of those weir starts my rpms acted weird, but the car runs perfect once its going and even just sitting at the light, if any one can shine light on what it might be it would be much apreciated.

First check battery voltage while the car is running. Then check charging voltage by placing positive cable from volt meter to positive side of alternator. It is located on the back of the alternator, the bolt is covered by a rubber cover. Place negative volt meter cable on a good ground and compare to the result u got from battery voltage. Should be no more than .5V to 1V differance and thats kinda pushing it already. Also did u check the starter connection for corrosion or dirt?

more than likely if your having issues with starting the the car 9 times out of 10 its going to be the battery.
actually that reminds me you know how when you first come in to this site how there are articles about s2000's, not to long ago they had an article about the s2000 and the battery. you should check it out
i like staying on top of those little articles lol
