you have a learning ecu and it will pick up like it should, but when you press the gas pedal it will interfere with it learning idle.

this has worked well for me over the years with several different cars, i've had better luck with this method over the iacv relearn procedure from the service manual. give it a try.
im going to plan on doing this again this weekend and will do that idle relearn, I will say after cleaning it previously I made sure it idles for maybe 1-2 min then I went and drove the car. I was also reading around the forums and maybe when I hardwired my radar detector I bumped into a connector or relay down there that when it’s hot is not making perfect contact so I will also be double checking all of that. The problems did start to happen after installing my detector. I haven’t payed attention to it but could also be when the car warms up the connections on the main relay don’t have good connection causing my fuel pump to not kick on, causing low fuel pressure on hot starts and needing me to give gas to assist it(maybe)

If the car was starting up normally before the radar install - have you tried to uninstall the radar system (revert back to factory configuration) to see if the problem gets solved? Sometimes wiring can become meddlesome and its good to try things in a before / after accessory state...
