i still haven't figured it out. i dont think it is the battery, because i tried to jump it, and it didn't work. i swapped another battery inand it still didn't work, but i dunno if it's because the othe rbattery is dead because i've had it sitting for while. i will look into it again tmr or the next day on my day off. i just don't understand why only in the mornings. the rest of the day runs completely normal...i tried to listen this morning, i think i'm hearing a faint click coming from the fuel pump, but i'm not sure.

extremely unlikely to have a fuel pump fail. My 13 hondas I have had thus far , most with over 200k miles and 3 with over 300k miles never replaced a fuel pump before, relay yes

I searched "fuel pump relay" and came up with lots of good info and pics from the "Electronics Helms Book".Try your search again. Also read about why u should check the relay first before changing the fuel pump and the tests to run to see if your getting power to the fuel pump. The relay could even just be loose. If the fuel pump doesn't prime when u turn the key, then my original diagnosis was most likely correct.Count it Keep us updated.
