What if you have a blown motor or something else that is bad as that, still hell of a deal? Maybe there is a reason why you got such a good deal, go get a new battery and try it

Try starting with with a big fresh battery, like borrow one from a diesel truck. If that solves the problem, relocate the battery to the trunk, put a bigger one in. Problem solved.

ok guys.. i replaced the battery and nothing.. When i crank the car it cranks like 3 times slowly and then stops. It seems like if the battery is dead but its not since i just got a new one. What else could it be?

Take out the spark plugs, pull the fuel pump fuse, and see if it turns over freely or not.

I had a similar thing happen to my 'tegra a while back.

Get under the car. There are a couple of thick ground cables under the starter. Tug on them, make sure they're nice and tight. Check other grounds as well.

If all grounds check out ok, next up is probably the starter. take it off, maybe download a manual, maybe there is a way to check the starter.

ill pull the spark plugs and check... also i dont think it would be a missing ground or anything like that since if a ground would be missing the engine wouldnt even cranck.... Previous owner had it running then out of the nowhere it stoped running.. Thats when he desided to sell it so im sure its something that might of happened and not something missing. I tought maybe burned ECU or coils or something. Im going to take a closer look tomorrow to see whats really wrong with it since work has been killing me lately....

The thing is, it would crank! Drove me crazy. Later, when I found the culprit, it was a 10mm bolt that attached the ground wire to the frame of the car by the tranny, hence also the starter.

The bolt was blue and chipped at the contact surface, where it was arcing like crazy, as I was trying to start it. Understand, the bolt was still there, just loose.
