2003 Ap1 with 153,000 miles.

Never had any issues recently, about 6 months ago had starting issues where it struggled to try n start but it was a bad battery.

Now car has new battery, and as of a few days ago will not start. It will start if your push start. When I put the key in the ignition all electrical comes up with power, and when I go to push the start button nothing at all, no noises, no effort to even try to start.

I thought it was the start button possibly gone bad but I replaced it with a brand new button and still nothing.

Any ideas?

Thinking the starter, if so anyone have links to diy starter install removals? Thanks

 

Maybe the alternator or voltage regulator. What are the voltages of the battery, with car off and running? Check this DIY video:
