Default caster???

I had a little accident with my s2k03. the steering was way off and they brought everything to factory settings other than the caster. it should be 6 degrees but it is at 1.5 right now.
they said it's not adjustable for this car. and a mechanic said i need to buy a kit to adjust it. anyone has some info on it? i really appreciate..

You need to replace the mechanic.

Caster, Camber, and Toe are all adjustable. However, if your caster is that low, something may be bent. The MINIMUM caster I could get was about 4 degrees.
