Caster/camber settings on rear
Hey guys,
I got the car a couple months ago, but just finally got a couple laps in at work recently.
My major complaint was the chassis gets unsettled during mid-corner throttle adjustments. I'm not asking for driving tips, but, want to know what camber settings people are running on an 2001'? I can't help but feel the massive rear negative camber is the source of my complaint. Hell, I can stand behind the car and see the neg. camber.
Any thoughts from guys who've had this car longer than me...?
Thanks in advance
Jon

First of all there is no caster adjustment on the rear.
I have found that my car is sensitive to rear toe. Too little and the car couldn't handle throttle changes in mid corner whether it is adding or removing throttle. In other words it gets too much trailing throttle oversteer.
The downside is that if I run enough toe IN to settle the rear end then I wear the tires out too quickly
I run 2.5 camber and about 1/4" toe in.

I'm not sure what you mean by "laps at work" (do you work at a raceway?), but do a search for "alignment" in the Racing and Competition forum for everyone's input on alignment settings. If you're just talking about driving stupidly on the street, use the UK alignment specs.
