CEL after test pipe and exhaust install
i have a 08 with only 34k miles and i just installed my exhaust and test pipe which caused the CEL. i tried the spark plug non-fouler trick and i even used 2 and the CEL still came on. i heard the DBW models were more sensitive to this kind of thing is that true? any suggestions on how to solve this? i dont want to have to use a rediculous amount of foulers and im not going back to any sort of cat or hi-flow cat. is there any risk or negetive effect from driving with the CEL on over time??

I have tried 4 spacers and it did not work.
I have heard an angled spacer that comes with some test pipes will work, but I have not seen it yet myself.

Not much other than the angled fouler option. But make sure to pull the CEL code and ensure it is due to the TP and not some other issue.
Did you buy a TP with a CEL fix? If so, you can go back to the manufacturer and see if they have another fix. Otherwise, get your CEL pulled every week or so to make sure it is the TP. AutoZone and Advance will pull it for free.
I have the same issue. I am waiting for Invidia to send me an angled attachment, but in the meantime, I have the CEL pulled on a weekly basis.

i had to use 1 long one which equals 2 smaller ones and one smaller one. so you can say i used 3 of them. the TP also had a CEL fix but it only had some wire mesh. by now im sure my s/c exhaust gases evaporated them. but i never got a CEL tho
