--snip-- for tps, turn your multimeter to ohms. disconnect the tps and hook jumpers to the pins of the tps. move the throttle body and see if your ohms reading change. if they do, its possible its fine. if not, than its bad. hope this helps. good luck.
When you move the throttle, move it slowly while looking/monitoring the Ohm reading. It should be as smooth as the movement of the throttle itself. If you see a jump, a spike, a dip in reading anywhere in the range, that means that the TPS is bad. There's a thread on how to replace it cheap.

It's a random missfire detection code the 1399 i have this same problem

it doesnt do anything to the performance of the car nor is it bad for it.

the code is only on start up or low idel.

The honda computer told me it was a low injector pulse reading so i'm waiting on replacing my injectors to see fi thats the problem.

I'm not exactly sure on the terminolagy, but it has something to do with the volts or soemethiing on the injectors dropping. is what the journeymen at honda told me.

if the injector pulsewidth on the hds is low then the computer is telling it to be low. And replacing
The injecotrs isn't going to fix it, unless the spray pattern is so bad at low duty cycle/pulse width
Then yes it would fix the idling misfire

Well I took the car to honda today, it looks like the problem is either my map sensor or a bad valve adjustment. The map sensor with the car warmed up at idle is reading 1.01v, the tech at honda told me that it should be .88v. He said it could also be caused because my valves are too tight. I would doubt it needs a valve adjustment because I just had one done recently. Does this make sense, should I order a new map sensor?

Oh yea at idle I can hear the car hiccup slightly every 5-10 seconds, I originally thought it was an exaust issue but I guess its due to the misfire.

The plugs are pretty new, I replaced them less than 5k ago
Plugs have been know to back out on these cars resulting in trashed motors. If you haven't double checked that all the plugs are still torqued properly, I would do that asap.

When the same thing happened to our 2002, replacing injectors solved the problem.
