This morning when i was driving my car, I had a check in light. Then I realize there were hot steam coming out of my hood. I pulled over and after a few minutes passed I open my hood. My radiator cracked up top (the plastic part) next to the radiator cap.

How could a crack radiator cause a P1457? Did the steam messed something up?
