Default Quick Cel Question

Couldn't find anything involving this with the search, just need some re assurance.

Sitting in a drive through today, just after tossing on a J's rad cap. At idle, the CEL comes on.

After inspecting under the hood, gas cap, etc. the rad cap was a tiny bit loose and I tightened it. Is it possible the CEL came for this reason? either way I will pull the code tomorrow morning as it is late, but I'm freaking out hahah. Is there a certain one which may be the obvious culprit?

Its a 01 with 70kms on it!

Thanks!

i kinda doubt it would be the rad cap, but if you tighten it and reset the light, if that was the problem it shouldnt come back on.

Just checked got a 7-4 from the blinking....

so, P0304 7 - 4 P1399 Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected correct?

and that is the only code. Car behaves 110% normal as far as I can tell from driving to and from work today, Would this be a big issue?

thanks!

after some quick searching, new plugs and wires?
Is it a possibility that it was a fluke or something?

The car behaves normally, no shudder or hesitation on startup or any other time.

Saw on a site that resetting it, and it comes back, then something is wrong

edit again: I also just modified the airbox

In the S2000 Under the Hood Forum you'll find a Common Problems post. Within that there is a very good Engine Misfire thread. That includes the common causes of the misfire. It can be challenging to diagnose and you'll want to check the easy things first. But the advice is very useful.
