Default CEL Code P2297

Threw a P2297 'high voltage during decel fuel cut-off sensor 2"
yesterday while coming to a quick stop off of a banking turn.
Non-blinking CEL. Everything functioning per normal.

In the morning, starts fine. Drive very short distance and park
for several hours. ON next restart, CEL does not light back up.
Then I made it to Autozone to check the code...
Any thoughts? Can the ECU clear a code like that and not
light the CEL back up?

Thanks in advance y'all

O2 Sensor Out of Range During Deceleration Bank 1 Sensor 1

O2 sensor is messed up. Remove it, check for shorts/exposed wires. Clean the sensor, reinstall, clear the code....see if it comes back.

Thanks... I'll give that a try. First having to find the sensor. I assume there is a DIY somewhere on S2ki?
