Default Cel misfire and coil pack replacement

I have a year 2000 ap1 with 43k. Recently my check engine came on and I had my obd read it showed cell misfire on cylinder 4. So I swapped the coil packs with cylinder 4 to cylinder 1 to check if coil pack needed changing and reset engine light. My light is on again and it seems in need to change the coilpack. I am planning on buying denso coilpacks. Would I need to replace all four coilpacks on my car if only one is needed.changing? Also I am planning on changing my spark plugs to NGk iridium. Your input is needed. my mechanic suggest with cel misfires I would need valve adjustments and I just had my valves adjusted at 25k miles. Your input is needed.thanks

When you swapped coils from cylinder 4 to cylinder 1 the code followed the bad coil correct? If it was me I would just change the single coil that malfunctioned. On hondapartscheap.com coils are running about 100.00$; in my opinion, changing all four would be a waste of money. Why did you want to change your sparkplugs to NGK iridium? OEM s2000 plugs are great and they last for quite a long time, part number is nkg PFR7G-11S. I would pull the plugs, check if they are OEM plugs, check the condition of the plugs and reinstall to the correct torque. OEM plugs should last up to 85,000-100,000k. My plugs looked fine at 100,000k and I have not had a problem with them. All parts could be found at:
http://www.hondapartscheap.com/auto-...tion-coil-scat
I purchased parts from this site without a problem.

With 25k on a valve adjustment I would assume that the valves are still in specifications. If you feel the need to check them for your sanity I would do so.

But wait! The coil packs for the K20 work like a charm on our cars! Why would you waste $400 to replace the set when you can get all four for the price of one?
