CEL Code P0300, 301, 302, 303, 304
I went to Autozone to get the CEL and read P0300 to P0304 codes. I know that this is a cylinder misfire but am not sure what is the cause. I have made no significant modifications recently but had to replace the warped block and head 5000 ago. (dropping a coolant hose is a BAD thing) I have a Fujita CAI and no other real modifications.
It has been a little warm (100 - 108F) here in So. Cal. but it has not affected it earlier in the summer. Anyone have an idea what I need to do (besides possibbly replace the plugs) to fix the problem?
Thanks

I will have to change the plugs (I got a new set recently) but I have not smelled anything different, like bad fuel. As to compression, since it is a new engine, I would not think this is a problem. I guess this is a good reason to get a check under warranty.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I dropped a bypass coolant hose and emptied all of the radiator fluid. The block and head warped.
didnt you notice your temp gauge max out?
^Not likely.
First, the temp gauge reads coolant temperature so the sensor is designed to measure the coolant in the pipe, not the temperature of the pipe. With no coolant it would probably read low at first, though after a while it might give a higher reading if the heat gets bad enough to heat up the entire sensor through the sensor housing.
Secondly, the stock temp gauge reads 3 bars for anything from 160

Just to clarify, I dropped the coolant a while ago and the Honda dealer replaced the engine because of the warped head and block.
Since then (after 5000 miles) I have had a CEL and have had the car in and out of the dealer for over a month. They have replaced the plugs, changed the fuel, put in new coils, new fuel injectors and even replaced the crank sensor and plate. They went so far and put in a test ECM to see if was the brain that had gone bad. Did not fix it and am still getting the CEL. Honda Tech is a little stumped about the problem but my Moss Bros. Honda Dealer have been champs dealing with the problem. The funny thing is that the car runs well if I keep it below 7500 rpm. I even got 27 miles to the gallon going to Utah and back recently. I love the car but am stumped along with Honda about the CEL.
