CEL P1259
Okay I'm getting p1259 Immobolizer to PCM signal error according to autozone. their handheld device said "air and fuel mixer or something to that effect.
any ideas?
according to the search of p1259, it is vtec engagement problem. I just added oil to the car last night, so it shouldnt be a problem if that is the case. any ideas?

okay, well I went out to the car, unplugged the vtec solonoid (sp?) and replugged everything making sure it was snug. then i checked the oil level agian, put in another quart, reset the ECU...and bam problem solved.
no more CEL. wonder why the code says Immobilizer to PSM error though...

It has nothing to do with the immobilizer. Autozone's tester can't ID the code because it's manufacturer specific and the tester only does generic OBDII
#1 cause of this DTC is low oil level.

Having same problem at, just got car back from tuner and it seems sluggish. Didnt seem strong like boost, and i opened it up on the interstate and car totally died after 8k rpm, pulled over and restarted and got a CEL and pulled the code and found a P1259. Im not too familiar with the Vtec solenoid wiring but found one harness wasnt plugged in, being i dont know anything about installing these, does the vtec solenoid have 2 places for a plug or is one no longer used after installing a SC and oil pressure sensor (after market).
Oil is fine, double and triple check it at everyfill up and usually after I come in at night. No Vfac, but I do have a CTSC, seems I found the problem. One of the harnesses going to the Vtec solenoid was disconnected, I connected the harness and the codes were cleared and now it runs like new! Just gotta do something about that cracked bracket now.
