Ok I need some help.

My CEL came on when I was getting on the highway in 2nd gear. I didn't even get over like 43 and the light came on. It didn't drive different or anything so I took it home and let it cool off for a little bit. I checked the code at a local auto part store and it was P1259. So I started to drive back home and the CEL turned off. I checked my oil and it was low. I added 1 quart of oil and it was back to normal on the level.
My question is what is the code and should I check for something else?

 

P1259 is VTEC system failure. It was probably because of low oil level. You should be alright now. Remember to check it regularly.

That is a VTEC code.

It was probably your oil level. VTEC uses oil pressure to operate.
