Default CEL P1259

I was having some canyon drive today among with other S.
All of sudden I got a CEL, and rpm won't pass 6k.
code is P1259
My car is almost stock using fully syth 10w30.

I check my oil that morning, that is at the 3rd X mark when engine is cold
After 200miles (spiritual drive and 3 freeway drive, CEL is gone), next day I check my oil level, it's on the 2nd X mark, only 1 mark lower, and oil level is fine.

since search engine is unavailable, I google it.
some say tried to put more oil but the CEL is still here. (oil pressure light never on)
some say try to change the vtec solenoid, map sensor.

Anyone would have a better idea?

man when the search engine is down, it really sucks and it's usually when you need it.

I would start with the screen filter behind the vtec valve.
Its part of the gasket.
And make sure it has enough oil before doing canyon runs.
Enough = topX on the dipstick IMO.
