Default CEL P2271 MY08

Hey guys, I have a 2008 with a k&N intake and a Berk 63mm HFC (which I've had on for a while without problems) But now I've been getting the P2271 code. Auto zone interprets it as "circuit stuck rich" and 02 sensor bank one sensor 2. First thing we did is add a "cel fix" extension onto the HFC and put some steel wool in it. Reset the code. But it came back. Then we replaced the O2 sensor and reset the code. It came back again. Not sure the exact mileage on the cat, but usually I hear some rattling or smell a little something if the cat is failing. I think it's fine tho I could be wrong. Anyway, can you help at all? Thx! Tom

Looks like O2 sensor issues. Found this:

Got the same code and noticed a rattle in my exhaust. Think its the cat and damaged o2 sensor. Gonna try to replace both over the weekend. Have you found out anything about your situation?
