yeah... I have over 1000 miles on the car now with no CEL. I know there are others with WAY more miles than that with no CEL

No, you only need one pair...either pair will work just fine...and yes I'm one with many miles (as I created the mechanical o2 sensor thread)...checking my excel maintaince log I'm now at exactly 14132 miles with this fix

Please tell us you didn't drill the 1/2" hole into the test pipe. The finished product should have the test pipe with the follwing screwed into it in this order:

one antifouler
second antifouler
O2 sensor

It should look like this

On a related note. Has it been established that the O2 sensor needs to sniff something? What I mean is, what if it was completely isolated from the system and smelled no exhaust fumes at all?

O.K.one more time,to make sure I understand this correctly.
First, you screw in one antifouler, then drill 1/2"hole in the second one,and screw it in,then you screw in the O2 sensor. Is that correct?or the opposite?
Getting megan SS pipe this week, and want to do the install right.!
Thanks.

Yes that is how you do it...you'll see why as the O2 sensor will not fit in the antifouler without drilling.

Also you don't NEED the second antifouler, but most just use it because everybody does and you get two in the pack...

Yes,but if you drill 1/2" hole in the antifouler, there will be no treads left, how do you screw in the o2 sensor?

you only drill out the one small holed end of the antifouler, not the threaded end
