installed a JIC 505ST exhaust like 5 weeks ago and drove it fine for like 2 weeks and my CEL came on and i took it to autozone and it was suddenly gone.. Now all of a sudden my CEL light is back on again..

Went back to autozone and it gave me a code of Engine running to Rich and Fuel Trim Malfunction or whatever..

Guy told me it was probably from a bad O2 sensor..

Some advice would be great..

The CEL is probably from the o2 sensor. Have you replaced the cat with an aftermarket high flow one or just a straight pipe? If this is so your getting the CEL every so often because the o2 sensor is a flagged problem and thus will not automaticaly appear at first but will appear after it is flagged numerous times.

 

Yea i replaced it with a high flow catback system. I still have the OEM cataylic converter on...

So do i need to replace the O2 sensors to make it go away? or do something else?
