Default Center console removal?

Hello, everyone.
I eventually started install aftermarket stuff in my car, and I spend a good one hour removing/reinstalling the radio door.
Today, I found out that MY04+ has to have the center console removed
Imagine how difficult it was to reinstall the radio door without removing the centerconsole.

My question is, what's the safest way to pop the console out w/o damaging the clips?
Do I just pull it out hard?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, guys.

Thanks for the reply, Mike.
No offense, but have you pulled out an MY04+ console before? are the clips(locations) same w/ pre04s and 04+s?
I've broken lots of clips on my older cars before, so I'm just trying to be careful here.
Thanks.

For the center console.. start at the rear of the console and pop the clips out and work your way forward. They are a bit stubborn at first, but will pop loose.

Thanks for the reply, but in this case, when you mean by rear of the console,
you mean the leather arm rest portion?
Do I start from there?
Thanks again, guys.

I actually just removed mine today. They popped out very easy. Yes start with the

ones by the armrest area and work your way foward. dont pull it off too fast

because youll need to unclip the 2 wiring harness things under there.
