Default Changed fliuds today

I changed my Honda oil to Mobil 1 Syn 10W30. i changed my tranny fluid with Honda fluid and it feels more smoother now. and i changed my diff to syn 75w90 Mobil 1. The fluid in the tranny looked pretty clean. The diff seemed dark. Now I feel better knowing my car has clean fluid in her. I couldn't get any info from the dealer on seeing if the previous owner changed them. Oh yeah who ever does the DIY for the diff fluid change should put the size of the socket wrench and the open wrench that you need. The fill bolt is 23MM and the drain bolt is 20MM. It wasn't really hard to all of it. I think tomorrow i'm going to re check the tq of my spark plugs and maybe see if my valves are up to spec.

You may want to change brake and clutch fluid too. Best time to change brake fluid is Spring and it is Spring right now.

Umm, that would be me. Have a look here:

If take a look at the sentence just above the first picture, you should notice that I wrote the following:
24mm socket, 23mm closed end wrench

Which would mean that if I'd have put down what you stated, it would have been wrong. The drain bolt is not 20mm. It is 24mm.

I did the exact same thing yesterday. (Well almost, I already had Mobil 1 in the engine and I just put a fresh batch in.)

I was amazed how much better the tranny felt afterwards. It was good before, but now it feels like "the best transmission"--the way the magazine writers described it when the S2000 first hit the market.

I'm going to do that more often.

BTW The diff drain bolt is 24 mm, as described in xviper's diy post: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...pic=99995&st=0.

ok thats seems to be right now. I do remember a 24 socket and a 23 closed wrench. Trikes right it seems like a new tranny again. the brake and the clutch seemed to look very good.

I didn't feel like starting another thread about what else i've done. I just finished checking my valves. all were perfect. taking the valve cover off what a PITA!!! that wire that goes across the firewall got in the way alot. I'm not going to do this ever again. I also snapped one of the valve cover screws too. I have a tendency on breaking one screw on every car i buy. Thankfully i got the rest of the screw out and ordered another one from Honda. I took a pretty long drive today and the tranny was smooth as ice when shifting. I also noticed the car has a bigger smile now
