Default changing all fluids in the S

I am changing all the fluids in the s2k and I want to see if I am using the correct fluids..

Motor oil: Castrol gtx 10w30
diff: Mobil 1 75w-90 ?
tranny: Honda mtf-2
brake: dot 3

Is there a oem fluid from honda that will work in the diff?

thanks

sounds like you've got it covered.

But you might want to take a look through here.

Other options
Diff: 607 Almasol SAE 90 NEW LE1605
Tranny: Synchromesh Transmission Fluid
Brake: ATE Blue (or Gold)

Remember to get all the transmission and differential washers.

The honda tech changed my motor oil and transmission fluid. I didn't have time to pick up the mobil 1 75w90 for the diff... but the tech told me to use castrol gtx 80-90w for the diff. He said that's what they put in pilot and s2k. What diff fluid should I use?

From the group that meets the requirements, pick the one that makes you happy. I normally go with hardtopguy's recomendations.

I'd highly recommend Amsoil 75w-110 Severe Gear differential fluid, it provides the proper hot temperature viscosity for the old SAE90 spec, yet gives much better cold temperature flow than many of the conventional fluids out there.

Amsoil 10W30=> engine

Redline MT-90=>tranny

Amsoil 75W140->diff

Agip DOT-4=>clutch & brakes

Yeah I know its all preference but I dont know what diff fluid/weight to use. I live in northern VA. Should I just use SAE 90?

I use Bel-Ray Gear Saver. It is a straight 90w GL-5 just like Honda specs. You can pick it up at most motorcycle shops.

Mobil 1/Royal Purple=engine

Honda MTF=tranny

Amsoil=diff

I forget what I used for the brakes/clutch: I could pull my journal of receipts if needed, but I'm sure it's a Dot3.
