Changing clutch fluid with gravity bleed

Okay, I noticed the only thread on this (w/ search) I could find was old(ish), and I wanted to share a few tips without bumping the old thread, which was a bit confusing anyway. First of all, the most useful part of the previous thread by bkw:

Do i need to change my clutch fluid after 3 years? its only at 9,600 miles.

I know clutch and brake share the same fluid and im changing my brake fluid in a few weeks.

do u know how much brake fluid ill need? i just ordered 4 12oz of dot 3 going to change my brake and clutch at the same time

a half liter bottle should be fine for the clutch.
