Changing diff oil without jack stands or jacks.
Seriously, to change the oil you need to get under the car. To do that safely you want a good surface (even level concrete) and good stands to hold the car up. We recently lost a member because of insufficient car support and would rather not lose anymore.
Jackstands are cheap and available from auto parts shops.
A sponsor sells a valve to allow you to drain oil and reseal the sump without getting under the car, but you still need to catch the oil in a pan or bucket.

If you use ramps, chock the front wheels like the above user said, set the ebrake, put it in gear and i usually like to put a jack on one side of the car so if all else fails, at least the jack is there too.
you do not need to use jack stands nor elevate the rear of the car. i've done mine twice just by wiggling and reaching from the rear, yeah you have to twist your head to get it up in the bumper and use a tube to squirt the fluid in but it's a real quick fluid change, as long as you have the right tools and ingenuity, it is significantly easier (space-wise) if you jack up the rear but not necessary (unless you are really fat)...

My car is stock height and I really can't see wiggling under the car to get to the pumpkin. You jack just 1 wheel up and remove it and access the pumpkin that way... maybe.
Honestly getting the car on 4 jack stands takes 5 min TOPS. And makes it so much easier / safer.

I've done oil and diff fluids this way. Of course I'm also pretty skinny, so YMMV.
