Is it hard to do? What type of fluid should i put in there. My shifter has been extremly notchy. It has been getting worse recently. Thanks

use the Honda stuff (MTF) if you want it to work right
(from experience, the red stuff doen't do the job)

if i just take my car to the honda dealer, will they change my tranny fluid (for a price)? If I change the fluid, with the shifter get less notchy? Thanks

Changed transmission fluid at 5500 miles and put in synthetic. Service writer brings me my car and says he thinks it improved the shifting a bit. I figured it was going to be subtle at best and within the realm of placebo effect. No way. It is smoother. There can be no doubt about that it. (changed the diff. fluid too).
